Swingers in the Nudist Community
"Swinging is a non-monogamous behavior, in which singles or partners in a committed relationship engage in sexual activities with others as a recreational or social activity." - Wikipedia
Yes, there are swingers in our community, and most of them behave so well that you'll never know it! There are also Presbyterians, Republicans, and school teachers!

The point is, though the whole idea of swinging may be repugnant to you (or maybe it appeals), it's not something which impacts the average nudist experience in any way whatsoever! Swingers are not stupid and well understand that their personal lifestyle is not the norm, nor is it welcomed as an overt activity at any legitimate nudist/naturist venue.
Social nudism is as squeaky-clean as a church picnic, and deliberately so. We are well aware that society in general looks upon us as pretty darn odd in the first place, and already suspects that since people are nude together socially, there must be sex involved! Nothing could be further from the truth.
Picture a family camping experience. Now remove the clothes from everyone but otherwise nothing changes. THAT'S social nudism! You would not expect to see any overt sexual activity at a textile campground and you won't find it at a nudist camp/resort either.
Nudists can be swingers and swingers can be nudists, but anyone who acts out of line is not welcome in the nudist/naturist community, period. They will be quickly removed, end of story. It should go without saying that any 'naturist' venue that promotes sexual behavior in any way can't truly be considered nudist/naturist; it's just a place where people get naked and play with each other in a non-nudist fashion.

Now, you may feel uncomfortable thinking that someone is looking at you for reasons less than pure. You may also be uncomfortable wondering about your parish priest as he gives a sermon on chastity. Folks, that's life and if you're going to let worry stop you from enjoying your life, you'll never leave your home, let alone discover the joys of social nudism. Get over it.
Swingers may be there but they're much less likely to be noticed or to bother you than a grocery store checker having a bad day and taking it out on you! Forget about it and have fun! |
You'll find much more about this subject on the archived All Nudist website. Many articles discuss various aspects of the 'Lifestyle', as it's referred to. Some will reassure you, some may anger you, some may teach you something. In any event, it's something that you are unlikely to ever be affected by! Relax! Nudism is FUN!
