All-Nudist on Wordpress
For reasons which will be explained later, we'll be closing this site in January. We'll continue to maintain our original site, All-Nudist though probably without much current input. There's a lot of good information there and we'll import as much as we can from here. Just giving you a head's up so you can find us there when this is gone! All-Nudist on Wordpress Some of you are pretty new to All-Nudist.com and uaware of our history. As far as nudist/naturist blogs go, we've been around for awhile! Over the course of the years we've gone through a lot in our personal lives, moved from one website host to another, and changed our focus a bit. We're meant to be a primary source for the newbie nudist as well as the veterans, and that hasn't changed. We write fewer 'editorials' than before and are now more of a resource with a lot if information rather than being activists. A lot of bloggers burn out when the discover that they've said pretty much all they have to say on a subject, and we came close to that a couple times. Instead, we have our Community News section and It's Just a Nudist Thing to keep up the interest and, hopefully, bring folks to our website where the real info is located. They also offer an outlet for the occasional rant or incredibly insightful commentary. ;-) So what we have here is a listing, by title, of everything that's been posted on our old All-Nudist website including updates posted to there from here. There's a lot if stuff there so you might want to save it for a rainy day! Some of the links will no longer work, some may go to somewhere than they originally did, but there's still a lot of good information there and it's what we built our reputation on! Stop in and poke around when you get the chance; what do you have to lose? Archive: Listing of Articles Related: About Us When my doctor said, "Steve, maybe you should get on the transplant list" it sounded kinda like, "Don't make any long-term plans". Not a good feeling, and I've been there before. Six years ago I was determined to be terminal, spent seven months in Hospice Care, both at home and in-facility, and was finally kicked out because I refused to die! But God, I was SO sick. I'm doing pretty good for a guy who was supposed to be dead years ago, and have no complaints (OK, I complain a lot but I won't here!). When my doc dropped the bombshell about maybe looking for a transplant it was, quite frankly, scary. I tend to survive surgeries but after seizures, hallucinations, a coma, and only Angie preventing them from pulling the plug a couple times, it's not something I look forward to. Imagine my relief when my specialist today told me that a transplant was not indicated; that I was too healthy for that! Thank you! This has been heavy on my mind for some time now, and the relief I feel is indescribable. The same things that have been trying to kill me for years are still there, but ya know what? They aren't going to get me just now! I'm ready for when the time comes, but for now, FUCK YOU, death! ;-) Related: As some of you might know, during our transition from our original All-Nudist website to this current one, there was another incarnation that lasted for about a year. When we switched platforms from there to where we are now, everything on that intermediate site site was lost... or so we thought. It turns out that there's an online service which captures occasional, random website pages and saves them for posterity. It's part of Alexa, a respected worldwide resource for monitoring site traffic that offers diagnostics to subscribers. Using their 'Wayback Machine' it's possible to find some of our lost content from our website that is otherwise irretrievable to us. These 'snapshots' are far from perfect and a many links don't work, you may need to click on blank image spaces to see what was there, but a lot of it works and it's worth trying. We think you'll have fun exploring! Here's the first old All-Nudist.com article from there that we're sharing, and there will be more: “No, Not ALL Nudists Are Child Molesters…” One of the interesting things about blogging is that the totally unexpected can happen at any time. For instance, you may or may not know of our old, original All-Nudist website. It was our first effort to provide a basic and honest portrayal of social nudism for newbies or those merely interested. It was successful and eventually grew to what we have here today at All-Nudist.com. With over three million visits at our old site, and that much more at this one, we feel that we've made some small impact on a lot of people! Now here's the interesting thing; for a few years now we haven't updated that old site other than to post occasional links to our new website's postings. Basically, it's just a promo for here. It still gets a lot of visitors daily, and that's fine with us. But then today happened! From a daily average of 600 hits it jumped to over 4,800 (so far) and we haven't a clue as to why! A large part came from Facebook (we no longer have a Page there) and the rest from lots of different sources. WTF? Who posted a link on FB that drew so much attention? Why did everybody decide to go there today? We'll probably never know. Now, our current All-Nudist.com (where you are now) averages around 5,000 hits per day and we expect that. But for that largely ignored and obsolete website to make such a leap is beyond understanding. But we're not complaining! One thing is certain; we wish we knew what triggered it so it could happen again, and hopefully to direct those folks here instead of the site we no longer maintain! But thank you to whoever provided this kick though you may not even know you did! UPDATE: Over 6,000 now. Very weird...
Can you believe it? This heinous sexual assault, witnessed by other God-fearing, Bible-thumping, future Textile leaders of our country who stood by watching, was not committed by those Godless, hedonistic, sex-obsessed nudists!
What a rare and uncommon thing that ugly behaviour at beaches and assaults on women is not caused nudists/naturists but rather the uncontrolled behaviour of those who do NOT embrace our philosophy of respect for others! That is, the assault was done by those predators, those upstanding members of the majority of society who see US as the monsters and vilify us for being 'sinful' because we enjoy nudity without rape!. Unlike these proud Sons of the South. Anyone who sees these these young men as our hope for the future, please raise your hand. Their fathers and the other Neanderthals who taught them their morals could well be among those in public office or even running for President of the United States of America. Isn't that a comforting thought! Just some good old boys havin' a good old time.
"Two college students have been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a young woman on a Florida beach during spring break, in an attack that hundreds of bystanders apparently did nothing to stop, authorities said.
Delonte' Martistee, 22, and Ryan Austin Calhoun, 23, were arrested Friday and charged with sexual battery by multiple perpetrators, the Bay County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. Both are students at Troy University in Alabama." More: 2 College Students Charged in Gang Rape on Florida Beach It used to be said that New York City was so jaded that bystanders would ignore a mugging; here we have hundreds of America's finest enjoying a rape as casual entertainment. These kids are tomorrow's politicians and industry leaders, your doctor or accountant. Somebody's moms and dads. Your next-door neighbor. The cream of the crop who determine the future of this country. The ones with McMansions. Glory hallelujah! Our founders hoped for this, probably. These kids have NO moral balance whatsoever, yet THEY will someday rule the world.
To those so quick to criticise mainstream social nudism as it is today, consider the difference between us and them. Our community is far from perfect, but you never have and never will find anything as despicable as this among those who embrace our commitment to our lifestyle.
The world is and always has been in a pretty sorry state as it applies to individuals, but at this time and place we nudists/naturists are able to pursue our chosen way of being, though restricted. We need to strive for more freedoms and places where we can practice our 'aberrant' lifestyle, but we must never forget that we are surrounded and vastly outnumbered by those who believe that the 'slut' got what she deserved; "She should have expected it"... "Was asking for it". After all, it was 'Spring Break' right? "Monday night is orgy night at Commune Utopia. The Commune isn't looking as photogenic as it usually does, and until I manage to establish some ground rules regarding taking photos of people there (particularly in an orgy!) I’ll largely refrain from posting. Still, all was not lost. New photographer Hugh came online, and despite not being an SL or RL naturist managed to get his kit off while the two of us explored bits of the in-transition Commune, and take photos of each other. He seems like he could be a lot of fun to work with. I (and possibly Hugh) will be back at the Commune later on for their second orgy session." Read more: Orgy night at Commune Utopia This appalling excuse for 'naturist' writing appeared recently on the SL Naturist (Second Life - simulated reality through cartoon avatars)) website which, until now, has fairly represented true naturist values both in the Sim and in discussions relating to real life (RL). We have long supported their efforts. Upon reading All-Nudist.com's comment about this deviation into something decidedly non-naturist, SLN's editor (Ella) commented expressing surprise and dismay that such an article had been posted, unknown to her. SLN's publisher (Howie) soon posted the following article stating that he had nothing to do with the website other than funding it, then defended the 'Orgy article' and its writer (Diane). Furthermore, he then suggested that Ella "should be writing for a more mainstream naturist media!". That shows something about his ideas of 'naturism, no? A publisher’s perspective: A response to that ‘orgy’ post This was followed by Ella's (the editor) explanation of the situation and her reaffirmation of her position as someone who respects and promotes "genuine" naturist traditions and values, and wishes SL Naturist to be representative of that. She writes eloquently and we believe she's sincere, but Ellen, as editor, apparently feels an obligation to introduce site visitors to the fringe element of those who call themselves naturists but act otherwise, and she respects them for that! Editorial: Orgy Night at Commune Utopia We at All-Nudist.com disagree. Does the sheep 'respect' the wolf among the flock? By claiming to be be representative of naturism, SL Naturist, or any credible website, is obliged to live up to those honorable ideals and not present a distorted view. God knows there are plenty of other phony 'naturist' websites out there already doing exactly that. Remember: those who have not experienced social nudism have only the misimpressions of Textile society to guide them. If they go to a 'naturist' site and are welcomed into an aberrant version, that will be what they will see naturism as being! Many will run far and fast, sharing what they learned with others. Those who embrace those twisted concepts don't belong among us, God forbid! As a portal for newcomers to social nudism All-Nudist has long been trusted to refer new folks to websites and articles which will give them a true view of our community, including the warts but not promoting them. Once people have a solid grounding, they will be better prepared to assess the validity of the kind of garbage that they are more likely to run across as they explore social nudism. We cannot in good conscience continue to support a 'part-time naturist' website published by someone who doesn't care ("That has jack shit to do with me") and an editor afraid to take a stand on her principles due to her uncertainty as to just what mainstream social nudism is really all about. "It’s not my job as editor to impose my will on everything. It’s my job as editor to reflect wider trends in the broad church of naturism, with different strands of what’s acceptable and what’s not." - Ella No Ella, it is your job to determine what pertains to "the naturist values I hold: which are to positively promote a family orientated, friendly, a healthy lifestyle where nudity does not equal sex." on the naturist website you are in control of. That's what you were hired for. Is that so difficult? Or is the pressure for website hits ("that currently manages an average of about 900 views a day") what really drives SL Naturist's agenda? If you SL folks want to get yourselves a naked cartoon simulation website with no holds barred, more power to you! Call it 'SL Naked Fun' and you'll have no argument from us. But if you insist on calling it 'naturist' and cannot maintain naturist values, you may boost site visitors but they won't be naturists; they'll be those who find you when searching for 'naturists sex'. And you you harm our worldwide community by doing so. It's with regret that All-Nudist.com will be removing any articles and links to SL Naturist from our websites and social media. We will no longer share their articles or in any way direct folks to them since, lacking sound editorial policy and standards, we will never know what they'll be promoting as 'naturism'. Related: True words, for those willing to become criminals to make a point. Our nation's Founders were all criminals and traitors to their sovereign country, and they were willing to risk all for their beliefs. But of course, the definition of 'unjust' depends on on one's point of view. Society defines 'just', and convincing Society that it is in error is the hard part. Without the support of Society, 'unjust' will remain 'just' and the cause is lost. The larger question is, by what means can Society's attitudes best be changed? Education, exposure, confrontation? Nudists/naturists tend not to be activists. There are many reasons for this aside from the fact that most folks, nudist or not, are not very activistic in general. We tend to be content to vote Party and avoid active participation in support of our views. That's human nature. We who like to run around naked with friends and strangers have extra of reasons not to be very public about our activities, let alone step out up front and declare/defend our lifestyle. These topfreedom folks are few in numbers and have their own agenda unrelated to social nudism, but they do have the cajones to do it! And they seem to be making inroads. We could use more of this type of social nudist activism, but our major organizations instead keep a low profile and try to avoid the limelight. Without their support, it would be foolish for individuals to attempt to promote mainstream social nudism and expect any kind of respect or credibility from Society. Individual nudists appearing in the media are labelled as 'kooks' or 'weirdos' in the milder terms; 'perverts' and 'creeps' is more common. Without loud and vocal support from legitimate nudist/naturist organizations, that's all those folks will ever be; individual kooks and not representative of tens of millions of like-minded people! The topfreedom groups are also considered to be 'kooks', but by persistence they are getting their message across, and getting Press exposure and support of their views. Are we? You know the answer to that. Long-term visitors to All-Nudist.com may be surprised at our take on this. As you may know, we're pretty hardcore traditional nudists who go to nude places to be nude! There's nothing better than a midwinter naked campfire! People often wonder why nudist venues feature occasional costume parties. Good question! Why would people who go to a lot of effort and pay to be nude together want to put clothes on? It's not really that complicated, though it took us a while to figure it out. Think of the social part of social nudism; social means enjoying each other's company, and nudity is usually a part of it. But need it always be? We're friends or acquaintances spending quality time together and if the group thinks that a costume party would be fun, then why not? Many groups/clubs socialize together outside the nude environment. From highway clean-ups to fundraisers, dining out together or travelling to a ball game; many nudist social groups spend plenty of time together clothed! It's the social aspect that binds a community, nudist or not. It does seem kind of odd that nudists might want to dress up, but doesn't everyone at one time or another? If clothes should be anything, at least they should be fun, right? What's more fun than a costume party? And then there are the venues that can get kind of risque' at these events, and that's another topic altogether. When nudity is not an issue, and the idea is to dress up... it's easy to find interesting and evocative attire! Individual venues determine what's 'acceptable' and we're not even get into what that can mean at some. Our concept of mainstream nudism is that anything that occurs anytime should be as kid-friendly as if they were there. There's other places to get frisky! Anyway, it looks like everyone had a great time at Cypress Cove, a mainstay of nudism in America.. Personally, that party wouldn't be our ideal, but that's one of the great things about our overall confusion concerning what exactly social nudism IS: we all can find our own path within the general concept that we all share! Related: What's Nudism All About? It's interesting how life has its little turns. I just finished rolling out dough that Angie made for a flatbread tomorrow, using a wooden roller my Dad made in a 1930's school shop class. Wow, did the thought of now, 80 years later, ever enter his mind as a 17 year-old when he made it? It surely does every time I use it (plus memories of him)! I'm giving a gold pocket watch to a son as a wedding present next summer that belonged to his great-great grandfather. Did that man have a clue that his well-used watch (which still works!) would someday be the focal point of a steampunk wedding, with his great grandson (me, Steve) officiating? When that man lived, there were no automobiles, no aeroplanes, little electricity, and abysmal knowledge of the world or its history. Quite a different world! The pride and joy of my personal cabinetmaking efforts are a couple of grandfather clocks; where will they be someday? I built them to last 'forever' and can only imagine where they will wind up! What world will they, my gift to future generations, be in if they survive? Wow. It boggles my mind to know that folks in some countries are living in cottages older than my country, and even more ancient structures almost hurt my mind to imagine the history that accompanies them! And those buildings pale in comparison to much older monuments raised before the builders of European treasures had even figured out how to wear animal skins to keep them warm! So much history, so many lives and personal histories; so much done in times before history was even recorded! So much knowledge painfully learned through countless generations and then... lost, only to be regained again, much later. It's really both a terrifying and amazing history we human beings have made for ourselves, and most of it makes little sense to our 21st century sensibilities. But hey, a huge chunk of the world is still living there. Many peoples are still living in a world long gone for the rest of us. We can say, 'Leave them to themselves and their culture,' or we can try to bring them up to 'nowadays' if we think that's such a great idea. Tough question. Some of those folks are pretty aggressive and well-armed... What's all this mean? Dunno, but my Dad's old rolling pin works just as well as it did 80 years ago for my grandmother, and my great grandfather's 1800's watch is going into good hands.. My clocks? Who knows? That's really all that this was about. Make your own conclusions about the rest! And, as long as you're still here, I have my grandfather's 1900 .22 rifle that's accurate enough to shoot the ear off a gnat at 50 yards, iron sights! Some things never lose their value! Just a ramblin'; it happens now and then... Don't read more into it than that, ok? |
